Dr. Dane Dudley was born and raised in Southern California. He attended UCSB where he received a degree in Developmental Biology. He went on to study at NYU College of Dentistry and graduated with honors in implant dentistry. Dr. Dudley then continued his training at UCLA where he completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. This residency focused on the comprehensive treatment of patients that required complex full mouth reconstruction and rehabilitation. In addition, Dr. Dudley saw patients on an emergency basis to relieve dental pain at a UCLA based Urgent Care facility.
Dr. Dudley found his way back to Santa Barbara where he enjoys being in and around nature. He can be found out in the ocean fishing from his kayak, surfing, hiking, snowboarding, and cycling. Dr. Dudley is also an avid photographer who has donated some of his work to benefit global charitable groups. In addition, he has worked with Dentistry from the Heart and other dental charities.
His attention to detail and love for learning has lead dentistry to be more than just a career for Dr. Dudley, but a passion. He is constantly seeking to hone his skills, and increase his knowledge with the most current continuing education courses and research. In order to best serve his patients, Dr. Dudley has completed advanced training in several different areas of dentistry. Some of his training include:
- cosmetic dentistry
- computer guided 3D implant placement
- and root canal therapy
Dr. Dudley’s calm demeanor and gentle touch creates a comfortable environment for even the most dental-phobic patients. He strives to make every experience as relaxing and pain free as possible. His focus is to exceed each of his patients expectations and deliver high level personalized care, while always including the patient in the decision making process.
